Christmas Festival

Okay so This last weekend Kyla and I went to The Cedar City Christmas Festival, I had some of my crafts in it that I was trying to sale. I decided that it would be a good time to have Kyla sit on Santa's lap. As you can see she was not going to have it.
I told the girl to take the picture any ways just because I decided that it would be a great memory later in life.
The funny thing was she was so interested in him she kept on asking where he was and what he was doing, but when it came to her time to see Santa she wanted nothing to do with him.
Well hopefully next year will be better.

Okay so I haven't had any thing to interesting in my life to blog about so thats why I haven't put anything up on the blog.

Over Thanksgiving we went and spent the time up north at families houses which was really nice but it was a really long trip. We left Wednesday Afternoon and came home Friday night. Just a lot of driving. But it was really nice to get to see everyone, we were able to visit with both Matts Mom and Bruce, Kristy, Eric, Katelynn, Jaycee, and Weston. And My Mom and Dad, Katie and her kids and Gordon, Jessica and it was really good to get to see Annalise Gordons Baby I haven't seen here for such a long time she is getting really cute and fun.

I feel bad I forgot my camra on this trip so I didn't get any pictures I guess I'll have to do better the next time.

Saddest Mommy moment.

So I never thought that I would hear my Two year old tell me that I didn't love her. It was so sad I just wanted to hug her and kiss her and tell her over and over that I did.

See what happened is, last night I was getting Kyla ready for bed and for some reason she didn't want to go. So we were Fighting, yah a 20 something adult fighting with a 2 1/2 year old quite entertaining. Anyways she started telling me that she wanted daddy, I asked her why. and here if goes she says because he loves me. So I retort back, You know I love you too. And she comes back at me with No mom you don't love me... Cry..

I know she's only 2 and it shouldn't afect me that much but oh my Gosh I was not ready for that. Kyla is such a sweet heart and I love her so much I don't know were she got the Idea in her head that I didn't. I guess from here I'll just have to tell her and show her that I love her even more.

Halloween

So I thought I would show you what all of our pumpkins looked like. They were really fun to carve this year because Kyla could get into it and some what understand what we were doing.

Matt Dressed up as a Gorilla and Kyla dressed up as Boo (the little girl from monsters Inc.)
We had to work Kyla up to Matt's costume I think it took the whole month to do it before she actually felt comfortable to stand next to Matt. This picture took some work on getting she really wasn't sure about sitting on Matt's lap.

I for got about taking pictures of us in our costumes and so I started to take mine off until Matt said something about it. I was a Sorceress. or witch what ever you want to say.

Halloween Fun

Last Saturday Cedar city put on a little activity for the kids it was actually kind of fun and would have been even funner if Kyla would have actually done something. Unfortunately we could only get her to do a few things

Isn't she so cool in her glasses, she goes everywhere with these glasses and believe me if we for get them its a scream fest. Until I get her mind on something else. She wanted to decorate a cookie and she did a great job doing it.

Its kind of hard to see but if you look very closely at this picture you can see Kyla has a ring around her mouth from the red and orange frosting. Instead of eating the cookie she licked off all of the Icing.

She wouldn't decorate her pumpkin at the park so we brought it home to decorate, she started by coloring it with markers and then when she saw mom and dad carving our pumpkins she decided that she wanted hers carved also.

I think she enjoyed this much better then coloring it.

By the time she was done she had pumpkin from head to toe.

This is what she told me to do I think for her first pumpkin it actually turned out really cute.

Silly Kyla she's always pulling some face or another.

Conference weekend

So as usual I'm late on posting this but I thought I would Still share it with everyone.
on the Weekend of the 4th matts Mom and Bruce came down to visit us we all went to Saint George and spent the weekend. It was really fun.

I just thought that this picture was so cool I had to show it to everyone that was the view from our room in ST. George it was beautiful to see I'm so glad that matt got a picture of if.
This was Kylas First Curls, well attemt at it. Her hair is finally getting long enough that I can start to do more things with it.

As I've said before Kyla loves the water and I have the hardest time keeping her out of it. She would swim morning noon and night if I aloud her to.

Marilyn and Bruce baught them a new toy and we just had to try it out. The sad is that Kyla was so scared of it she was even fighting me during this picture infact as soon as the picture was taken she imedeatly hopped off.

Doesn't matt look so Cute with the Safty helmet on.

As I said she loves the water. Unfortanatly you have to all se me also in a swim suit. Screem....

Matt, Kyla Bruce and Me. I didn't get any pictures of Marilyn but she is there shes the one behind the camra unfortuatly.

I finally got her out of the water, We were there for Saturday Afternoon to Tuesday Morning and I think we spent most of our time in the pool.

Time to go home better get one last picture with out us in the swimming pool. I love this condo it is so beautiful and the people there are all so nice.

Wonderful Little Girl

by: Unknown Author

There came a frantic knock at the doctor's office door, A knock, more urgent than he had ever heard before,"Come in, Come in," the impatient doctor said,"Come in, Come in, before you wake the dead."In walked a frightened little girl, a child no more than nine,It was plain for all to see, she had troubles on her mind,"Oh doctor, I beg you, please come with me,My mother is surely dying, she's as sick as she can be.""I don't make house calls, bring your mother here,""But she's too sick, so you must come or she will die I fear,"The doctor, touched by her devotion, decided he would go,She said he would be blessed, more than he could know. She led him to her house where her mother lay in bed,Her mother was so very sick she couldn't raise her head,But her eyes cried out for help and help her the doctor did,She would have died that very night had it not been for her kid.The doctor got her fever down and she lived through the night,And morning brought the doctor signs, that she would be all right,The doctor said he had to leave but would return again by two,And later he came back to check, just like he said he'd do.The mother praised the doctor for all the things he'd done,He told her she would have died, were it not for her little one,"How proud you must be of your wonderful little girl,It was her pleading that made me come, she is really quite a pear!"But doctor, my daughter died over three years ago,Is the picture on the wall of the little girl you know?"The doctors legs went limp for the picture on the wall,Was the same little girl for whom he'd made this call. The doctor stood motionless, for quite a little while,And then his solemn face, was broken by his smile,He was thinking of that frantic knock heard at his office door,And of the beautiful little angel that had walked across his floor...

I know I sent this little poem to some of you but I couldn't pass it up on putting it on my blog. It just goes to show you that there are angels out there watching over us and they are there to help us in what ever way we need it.

Last Weekend Cedar City was having what they called Balloon Fest. Basicly its a bunch of Hot Air Balloons that they have flying every day. They also have a few booths in the park and they drop candy one of the day's from the balloons for the kids to catch. Unfortanatly we only attended the lighting of the Balloons and unfortunatly it was to windy for them to put the balloons up that night. However we did have fun hanging out with some of our friends and seeing the flames from the balloon burners, which the kids thought was really cool.

Before they lit the balloons they had Kites flying it was actually really neat.

Here you can see the flames from the baskets and the kids watching the fire. These are some of our friends, Nayoli, Bennet and Mike.

Black Permanet marker

okay so I didn't get any pictures of this at the time, because I was so mad that it had happened, but I had to let everyone know about it. The other day we were lounging around and well I thought that Kyla was being a good little girl and playing by herself and well that wasn't the case.

Matt called my name I turned around to see Kyla with Black marker up and down her arms she really did a good job a drawing squares and circles. The only problem that I saw with this was that it was around her eyes also it looked like she had really dark Eye shadow with lots of black Eye liner, She was so proud of her self. And the only thing I could think at the time was how am I going to get this off of her.

Just to let you all know we did get it off with Hand Sanitizer on her arms and baby oil on her eyes. The baby oil worked the best. So needless to say all of the markers are put up unitl I say its okay for her to color with them. I don't think she will be able to use permanet marker until she's out of the house. I guess kids will be kids

A weekend of Fun and Sarrow

I just have a hard time keeping up with this, as Matt says I have to much on my plate. But I love everything I do to some Degree.

Last weekend was a very Long and Tiring weekend. We were at first going Up to Salt Lake area to go and see Matt's Mom and Bruce. Bruce was having a work Lagoon day so we were going up there to spend some time with them and His Brothers Family (Eric, Kristy, Katelynn, Jaycee, and Weston). That was all really fun even though I wasn't in a very Good mood, which I'm sure I put a damper on everyone's Fun which I am truly sorry for. I hope I wasn't to much of a grouch so that everyone had fun.
This was the First Ride that I took Kyla on I think it was called the Odyssey. Kyla didn't like this very much so from there on out we stuck to the little rides with her.
We then went over to the Mary-Go-round which she really liked that one. I don't know if it the fact that she got to ride the Horse or if it was that we were all on it with her, well except for Bruce he came a little to late to get on the ride with us. so he took pictures for us.

When Eric and Kristy got there we decide to see if Kyla would ride another ride that moved up and down a little faster then the marry-go-round. This is the one that we chose as you can see Kyla is having fun looking for her cousins, but Katelynn who is a really good sport looks a little board with this one.

Kyla and Weston Loved the Boats Kyla didn't want to get off She really loved the bell.

Kyla Loved seeing all of the animals on the Train ride

I couldn't believe it but Marilyn was getting in the water fountain with Kyla.
Kyla relaxing after a long day of Playing
Isn't she so Cool

The Tuesday before we left We found out that my grandma Passed away. Which was a good thing (She had been sick for a while) but I had a really hard time with this and I still do to a point. She is a wonderful person and I wish all of my friends could have met her she was always vivacious and just loved everyone. I would spend most of my childhood up until I was about 18 going over to her house every Saturday and spending time with both my Grandma and Grandpa. We got to hear about all of our Cousins and their Families and what they have been up to. I am going to truly miss her but I know that I will be able to see her again and that is a huge comfort to me.

After the Lagoon Matt and I left for my Grandmas Viewing, after that we went up to park city and stayed the night Kyla was on one so we decide to see if she would cheer up with blowing bubbles.

I think it worked other then miss independent had to do it her self

One thing that My grandma has taught me was that Life is so short and you have to live it and have fun with it while you can. I can't remember who said it but you need to keep your Friends close and our Family closer because one day they may be all that you have. I believe this is true I do love all of my friends and I have had so many of them throughout my 28 year and I hope to have more I like my grandma love to be surrounded by people. Even when I'm not in a good mood.

A really Cute Tag

Yes I thought I would Post another tag game this one I thought was really cute though.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
